The Royal National Lifeboat Institution is a registered charity that saves lives at sea. It provides, on call, the 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service to 50 miles out from the coast of the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, and a beach lifeguard service on 57 beaches in the south west of England. The RNLI continues to rely on voluntary contributions and legacies for its income. There are 232 lifeboat stations strategically placed around the UK and Republic of Ireland.
The Fareham & Locks Heath Area Fundraising Branch acts as an entirely voluntary and local fundraising arm of the RNLI working throughout Fareham & Locks Heath in Hampshire including the following areas: Warsash, Sarisbury Green, Park Gate, Swanwick, and Whiteley.
Our small but dedicated team of volunteers help us raise much needed funds through various local fundraising events and through the sale of RNLI Souvenirs, Gifts and Christmas Cards. We also offer speakers for local groups and schools about the work of the RNLI.
Please browse our website to find out further details of the service we provide and how you can help us raise funds to maintain the Lifeboat service. If you would like to join our Branch and help raise funds locally for the RNLI, then please visit our "Contacts" page for details of how to get in touch with us. We would be pleased to hear from you.
